About

mAtter is an independent label and artistic organization based in Tokyo, founded in 2008 by the Japanese artist Yukitomo Hamasaki. mAtter objective is to create engaging outputs which evolve around the intercorrelations between sound and other aesthetic fields such as visual, design and architecture.

濱崎幸友を中心にサウンドデザイン・建築・プロダクトデザインなど、様々なメディアにアプローチするサウンド&デザインレーベル。 他分野からの概念をmAtter的に解釈/再構築し、高密度な空間の構築を指向する。特定のメンバーを固定せずに様々なプロジェクトによってメンバーが入れ替わる。

Here at mAtter, we value your privacy and want to be clear about what information we collect and receive, how we use it and your rights over that information. As a result, we've updated this Privacy Policy.

These updates reflect our commitment to the high standards of transparency established by new European Union law, the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which comes into effect on Friday, 25 May 2018. We're committed to your privacy at Mixcloud and have always believed that in order to give you the best user experience, we should be clear and transparent about what information we collect and use and how we protect it. Therefore, we're taking the opportunity to update our Privacy Policy for mAtter users worldwide. We take into account:

1. Your rights to privacy and how to exercise them; 2. How we collect, receive and use your information; and 3. The legal bases we rely on to use your personal data.

When you sign up to the newsletter on our website front page, the email address you send us is only used for this purpose; it will not ever be sold to or shared with 3rd parties for any reason whatsoever. Once the email address has been added to the newsletter addresses in Direct Mail it will be deleted from the email inbox.
